Im away to buy a pc - where can i download dvds, music and other goodies?

A little help would be greatly appreciated.

Also, im planning on getting a pc on credit (from a mag not high street) any suggestions on a good deal (spending £700 tops)

Have you looked through Micro Mart, you can usually find some good deals in there!! I think it costs about 90p <IMG SRC="wink.gif" border="0" ALT="icon">

i got one last noght but theres only one place that does credit and its a bit pricy. any suggestions on web sites were i can download dvd etc?

and how fast does it take to download stuff with a 56k modem (e.g 120meg)?

for dvds: It'd take ages for DVDs to download 'cos their so big...don't know if there are any sites, sorry <IMG SRC="smile.gif" border="0" ALT="icon">

for music: theres a number of places - mp3sound.com
musiccity.com
kazaa.com, etc <IMG SRC="wink.gif" border="0" ALT="icon">

for other stuff you could try:
download.com - you can download programs from there, most of them are trial or freeware...but some of them are quite useful <IMG SRC="wink.gif" border="0" ALT="icon">

For DVD's (DivX's) I use hotline client- www.bigredh.com but Im on a uni connection so its pretty fast for me. It will take a while too download on 56k but you can resume a download on it so its down too how patient you are I guess
