im just updating mine but im not sure how to write the bit saying im at university now. i started in september so do i put 2005-2008 as thats when i'll be there for? or 2005- present? or... something else?!

    I'd say 2005 - Present.

    I know for jobs you normally say 2005 - Present but I think as you are at uni you should put 2005 - 2008

    i agree.

    with jobs you put - present because you aren't sure when you're going to leave, but if there's a definite leaving time, like uni, i'd put it in.

    ok, thanks guys! i'll put the dates in. the reason i was worried was in case theyd think id already completed my degree but i guess as im putting 2008 theyll realise that isnt the case!

    I'd leave it has 2005-present. Every CV I've ever seen usually says 'to present'.
