you're on a crappy ISP that has a cache OR thesite admin have screwed up with the settings on the server

either way - this is what you do

after replying and seemingly having no reply to be seen...put a question mark (?) at the end of the URL in the address bar and hit enter...

this "fools" the nameservers into thinking you're looking for a new page so they get back all the info you're after

works on all BBS' and is particularly handy in web design when you're designing a page and want to see how minor adjustments are getting along...it's quite amusing to see 100 question marks after a URL <IMG alt="image" SRC="http://www.thesite.org/ubb/wink.gif"&gt;
