Former MemberFormer Member Posts: 1,876,323 The Mix Honorary Guru
i saw an ad in the s*** newspaper (i do NOT buy it or read it), which was a company advertising that they provide comical answering phone messages for your mobiles.......

silence of the lambs, etc etc....

there was a web address for it which i can't remember (but there was 2 in the middle of it).

anyone know what the site would be? or have the s*** handy?

ok, these companies provide answerfone messages for the cost of the call, however u have to give them your PIN number for ur messaging service, which in my opinion is a bit dodgy

i wudnt risk it, especially as there isnt any thing on the adverts to say how else your PIN is used, or if its deleted or anything

the website, if anyone wants tpo know, was www.logos2order.com

um, yeah the pincode is actually the pincode FOR YOUR ANSWERPHONE MSG. not the pincode for ur fone. so i THINK it's not dangerous.

it's just so they can send u the msg.

i got a cool one from a foreigner, but anyway...

they charge a quid a minute and waste ur time with the usual waffle, b4 they tell u the requirements, which for me, on an orange fone, were:
    ur inbox must be empty.
must turn fone off for 10 mins after tyhe call
must have orange msg service enabled
must have pincode for msg service changed from the standard one to something else.

so do that b4 u waste money on the call, if anyone wants to call these lines.

    bye bye
