Please do not adjust your screen, there is a fault in reality. We apologise for the inconvenience and are trying to resume normal service as soon as possible.

nope sorry lol

ive got something weird with mie, just randomly sometimes it goes all dim and almost black and everything on the screen seems to expand a bit and come out at you and then it fades back in to normal, and sometimes theres a loud click too. and no, this isnt when im pissed or anything!!

it happened ALL the time to our old monitor on the other computer, and it turned itself fully off and went black and you couldnt get it b ack on again till it felt like it.. we got a replacement from gateway 2000 (mine's built by my dad's m8), something about it having dry joints in it somewhere? hmm that may have been something wrong with our tv instead... i dunno, apparently they said the old one could hae blown up!! so im a bit worried about mine, but i cant show anyone coz youd have to sit here for hours and hours and hours and days for it to happen. so everyone thinks im mad and making it up

anyway thats totally not answering your Q chris, but i was bored!!!

Sounds like something in ur montir may have come loose.
I have same problem in my monitor, it tends to flicker a bit. U cud do one of three things:
1.Ignore it, and if it gets bad tap the side of the monitor (although in the longterm this prolly makes it worse!)
2.Get it repaired (cud cost fortune)
3.Buy a new monitor
