2 usernames at once?

is there a way a person can have 2 usernames lit up on someones yahoo messenger at once?

I want to catch someone out and I want to know if I am talking to the exact same person when 2 user names are lit up. Any ideas how its done?

    ok i dont know if i understood correctly but it is possible that a person can be on yahoo messenger using one name and in the yahoo chatrooms using another cos i have done it many times

    well I am in an IR witha girl called julie and she uses a name to talk to me on yhaoo messanger and also her sister uses yahoo messenger and at times they are both lit up, I am wondering if Julie is in fact both of these people

    it is possible, i know a couple of my friends have two Yahoo IDs. if they're one and the same person, then when they come online, they'll light up both at once and u'll get two "user online" announcments (the door knocking, in my case).

    however it is possible that they have a small network in their home as i used to, and that way both me and my sister could be online at once.

    its just my girl says she is in Newcastle and her sister is in Cardiff, I am being distrusting and I want to catch her out to see how she feels about me

    y dont u get another name and talk to the one who is supposed to be her sister and pretend that u dont know her. that way u'll know for sure whether she is tellin the truth or not

    did it ever occur to you that julie could be online in newcastle and her sister could be online in cardiff, and that be it?!

    if someone was using 2 IDs (you can have one for your main profile and add another profile on, i guess maybe so you can talk to work people/family members with something resembling your real name and your net friends with your nickname? dunno), then like has alreayd been said, theyd comeonline and offline at the same time and you'd notice.
