hi, welcome to the site, hope you stay, it's a great place.

i used to like them when i was younger... i haven't heard them in a gazillion (well, ok, 4) years though. i'm sure they're not my thing anymore.

well thats a novel way of joinng us! the manics are pretty cool, ive got EMG and TIMTTMY, but i prefer EMG by far, for the most part. i keep getting all these people telling me to get gold against the soul and generation terrorists, but i just never get round to it *sigh*

Yeah, Manics are pretty cool. Got all the albums, Holy Bible is the most meaningful. Depends on what you want from them, GATS is very stadium rock, GT is more your raw arrogant indie band and the new one shows how they've matured. Don't know which I prefer.

As for "Jed" - guess a welcome is wasted then.

The other one is alright I suppose...

I like 'Travis - Sing', but then I've always followed Travis as I think they are brilliant with their music.

hah! I remember them! I used to love them so much when I was 12 and 13. They're from somewhere near Oxford so it just made them more real to me I think. Same deal with Radiohead and Supergrass. Supergrass is the only band I still like. Anway, yeah... I listened to Kula Shaker the other day, and Govinda was fun to sing along to just because I remember doing that 4 years ago but none of the songs are really very good.
