September Films are looking for Gay and Lesbian teenagers aged 16-18 to apply for a new show on Channel 4 called My Gay Prom. Here are the details:
September Films in association with Channel 4 are making a documentary about Gay Proms in America and are planning to set up a Prom in London this summer for teenagers. We need to recruit five 'out' gay and lesbians teenagers aged 16-18 to form a Prom Committee and work with sponsors and a firm of party organisers in making this an event to remember.
The event and behind the scenes negotiations will be filmed and broadcast on Channel 4. There may also be the chance to travel to America.
This idea is about providing an opportunity for gay teenagers to socialise and learn about having relationships in a safe environment. If you are interested in applying for one of the jobs on the committee contact Stevie Gower on 020 8563 9393 or email gayprom@septemberfilms.com and fill out an application form as soon as possible.
Being part of the prom committee requires commitment and dedication to make this project a success.
If you or any other 16-18 year olds you know would be interested, please have them contact me.
