Which Internet email do you use?

Hello I'm new on the site, been reading for a long time but never posted anything!

Just thought Id ask for a quick survey cos i dont have an email address anymore. Was wondering which free email services you guys use and why?

Hotmail is free I know that...are there any better ones?

    Hi, welcome to the boards! I use yahoo but I believe gmail has the largest capacity. Hotmail is crap.

    Use Wanadoo webmail and Hotmail mainly. Have a few other free accounts too.

    Gmail is the best for email purposes I'd say. Hotmail is good for MSN, doesn't mean you have to use it for emailing though.

    Gmail: big big capacity (2+ GB) and it allows POP access, which means you can use Outlook, Outlook express or a similar program to access you mail. It's also easy to search and the page isn't cluttered with tons of pictures and adverts.

    You can sign up for an MSN passport using any email address so don't think you're tied to MSN and hotmail for that reason ;)

    I normally use Hotmail, and my backup account (in case MSN goes wrong, which is not an impossibility) is on Yahoo.

    but i still have my old hotmail one to divert spammyness when i want to register for freebies and suchlike.

    i have a hotmail account, a yahoo account, a gmail account, a lycos account, and i even have a neopets email account :D

    use hotmail mostly though, lol :D

    Hotmail is one of the worst email providers nowadays. Try yahoo or gmail.

    have also a hotmail one I rarely use

    and one for my uni stuff.

    i got a university account. hotmail, yahoo, 3mail, bolt, nsyncmail and a few more but must say i think the majority of them are inactive because you forget about them...yes i know nsync, whoops!!!

    Yahoo, wanadoo (don't use much its a back up for when yahoo is not working and to divert spam) plus my uni one which is rubbish.
