    I'm all about old school. No one can come close to Leonard Nimoy.

    it'll be interesting to see how they handle the pre-kirk time frame after they going forward in time for the last 3 series.

    but i love the choice of scott bakula as the captain. he's great. <IMG alt="image" SRC="http://www.thesite.org/ubb/smile.gif"&gt;

    *hopes they bring back the brighly colored velvet short skirt uniforms with go go boots for the female officers though* <IMG alt="image" SRC="http://www.thesite.org/ubb/wink.gif"&gt;

    Here`s my view on the four series of Trek.
    The Original Series - sucked
    The Next Generation - had good parts including brilliant acting.
    Deep Space Nine - started off slow but the last 3 seasons kicked ass!
    Voyager - started off promisingly but crap and repetitive storylines, infinite shuttles, shit enemies and eratic character development (Janeway was reluctant one minute, obsessive the next, negotiating the next...who can keep track? <IMG alt="image" SRC="http://www.thesite.org/ubb/smile.gif">)

    I didn`t like the idea of a prequel before and I`m still not thrilled about it. A 29th century series would`ve been better but after seeing one of the sets in a video and reading about the premiere it looks like it could be okay. Just as long as their solution to everything isn`t 'rerouting the hoosah by the wotsit and increasing power to the thingymajig' and as long as all their episodes don`t have to do with spatial anomalies, graviton wotsits and surprise surprise, more spatial anomalies.

    "Honesty is just an excuse for lack of imagination."

    Me and some of my friends thought about a series set in the 29th century with time ships. But you never know they might do that for the sixth series

    Suffering is everywhere. Don't think it isn't. So are miracles. Don't think they aren't.

    well im thinkin that there goin back cause no one knows if voyager will get home, an cause theve made references to all the other series i.e. kirk in DS9 then it will be odd if the dont metion summit as important as the lost ship that charted the delta quadramt, an no 1 knows how they will get home, so no risk of possible spoilers, so thats my theory

    Star Wars - wicked
    Star Trek - Crap

    I admit it must have something going for it cause it's so popular but it lost on me.
