    its true, he started his protest before the legislation, so the police would be and are stupid to try and arrest him, even if the law is a stupid one

    i think next london meet, you should all buy him cake

    The law's a stupid one, but the man is an irritating moron who makes the square look like a rubbish dump and who has a habit of deciding to start screaming into a megaphone whenever you go past him.

    Legend. We should all buy him a drink.

    So... we cannot protest outside Parliament... Militias are being set up to help the police oppress us... we need ID cards in our own country... our freedom of speech and movement and association are limited...

    Well. Aren't we up shit creek? When the revolution comes... join me and the others... don't sit back, or it'll only get worse! Britain really is heading towards a totalitarian state at a supprisingly fast rate.

    The only thing disgraceful about it is how this guy and his wife got arrested straight away while the protestors over the cartoon, only one has been arrested and charged weeks, maybe a month or more later.

    He’s almost as annoying as the Christian ‘Are you going to be a sinner or a winner?’ bloke near Oxford Circus tube.

    Yep - and all this in a country that is supposedly so committed to freedom and democracy that it feels like it has the right to export it around the world at gunpoint.

    That law was only brought in to get rid of him, and they're not allowed to use it on him.

    Splendid!

    I drove past there in a cab with a mate of mine a couple of weeks ago, explained the situation to him and he said;

    - seems a pretty stupid to make a law just for one person

    Summed it up rather well I thought.

    He wasn't there on Friday, it was a woman with a megaphone. I wanted to go and ask who she was and what's she'd done with my friend, Mr. "Why is Jesus like Sainsbury's? He makes life taste better"!

    In Walthamstow on Saturday's the happy clappers hold a competition with the Socialist Workers over who can make the most noise and irritate shoppers most of all. SWP are slightly in the lead becuase they add the extra irritation of trying to make people sign things...
