There are only 3 horror movies that creeped me out:

poltergeist
the exorcist
the shining

but then I don't get scared that easily.

I don't get scared ... I'm just left with a little creepy feeling at the end. Like butterflies in my stomach.

titanic

easily the scariest movie i've never seen.
leo just gives me the heebie jeebies.

acutally shazza, besides the three amadee gave, the movies that have creeped me out are:

the silence of the lambs
fatal attraction
seven

like the thriller more than horror i guess.

Read it - v scary but then I get scared by anything. I have even been known (when much younger) to be scared by the Care Bears pantomime and My Little Pony videos. So don't take my word for it!

Hellraiser scared the shit outta me the first time I saw it. Especially the thing with the chattering teeth.

So with one hand on the wheel
The other out the window
With a smile on my face
My middle finger up...

'the little mermaid'.

all that shit about people turning in to fish and all - scared the crap outta me! i only found blair witch remotely scary because i generally spend a fair amount of time hiking and camping (in woods, as it so happens). dont generally find horror movies that scary. just funny, esp scream

event horizon - for gfm and anyone else who's seen it - dont you agree (a)they could have done so much more with that film, (b) they nicked a load of it from stuff like 2001 and alien, and (c) that bits have been pilfered by other directors for other movies?
quite a good film though.

Hellraiser was the first horror movie I ever saw... I didn't get scared by it though... I just thought the cinematography was good.

Ooh! I have a funny (awful) story about the shining...

I'd been going out with this guy for a couple months, things were going ok but the last week he'd been pretty distant and would say mean things every once in a while. I was beginning to think about breaking up with him, but was giving him the benefit of the doubt for the time being.

He came over to my house and brought the shining with him. He'd been talking about how I had to see it for a week, so I finally said ok.

When Jack Nicholson started screaming and going crazy in the movie, my bf started saying really mean things to me (ie 'move over fatass' and 'you smell awful')... I got really pissed at him and when the movie was over (it was really good and I wanted to watch the end) I broke up with him.

He called me a couple days later and said that I was the 6th girl he'd broken up with by calling them names during the shining.

what a fucking asshole!

I've got way too many evil asshole ex boyfriend stories for my own good...

Dogma? Nah, thought it was pants. By far the worst thing Kevin Smith has done (for me anyway).. not a patch on Clerks and Mallrats which have got to be the greatest films ever heh

No film is scary for what you forget when you watch them is that it is only a film and indeed not real life
