I want to use VOIP to recive landline calls for free, how do I do this?

    To receive calls to a "geographic" number, you sign up with a VoIP provider that offers to service

    You can't escape from needing a company to provide you with a line of some sort even if it's just for the internet access.

    Personally we've never had any real problems with BT for telephone service and hear less horror stories then with companies like NTL
