AAAAAAAAAARRRGH!!!! *starts choking on himself* grrph...

sorry. they're crap. no, wait...crap is too nice. they make music that can be likened to a head that had recently endured the full force of an elephant stampede - very, very flat and covered in grey areas.

And all the grown-ups say is sorry, cos we got no reply.

anyway im talking crap now. almost as crap as hearsay!!

I don't think Hearsay should be successful cos there was too much hype about the TV series.
The first time I heard the song I thought it sounded like "Never Ever" by All Saints, cos of the backing melody.

lol...did you all hear about the TOTP performance where they had to mouth the song, cos they're backing tape wasn't ready.

i know there is gonna be a grand total of ZERO people who will be sorry about this, but i reckon this is the end of the manufactured band industry. there will be popstars and crap, but the market will finally get sick to death of hearing puppets sing. oh well. they wont be missed.

And all the grown-ups say is sorry, cos we got no reply.

ah but they are, methinks. alright, maybe they're just as bad, but i have even less respect for them than the others, cos they've joined so late in the game.

also, (for the females) they don't wear revealing enough stuff, so they're never gonna take the teens and adult male audience by falshing some cleavage (which is why britney sells so many fucking records!)

And all the grown-ups say is sorry, cos we got no reply.

hearsay are everything i hate about pop music

they are openly and proudly manufactured, image obsessed, perfectly down the middle- not -leaning into-any-particular genre, bland, predictable, opinionless cash cow puppets and it says a lot about what britain has become that they havethe fastest selling album ever. that beats the Beatles. just think about that.

Yep, I agree with Guano. The British public sucks. It has no music taste if u go by album sales. Simple solution: shoot all those fucking manufactured bands

And all the grown-ups say is sorry, cos we got no reply.

U lot r gonna hate me for disagreeing but I think they r all really talented and genuine. Its sad that they dont write their own music and they r a bit too poppy for me, however u cant deny that they are all brilliant singers. At least they arnt all skinny and totally picked for the way they look and not for how they sing. There are too many so called singers around that cant even sing and darnt do it live, I think they all have brilliant voices and good luck to them coz they r from the normal world and deserve to be given a chance
Now u lot r gonna hate me for saying al that aint you!

I'd like to make a couple of points about Hear'Say. That's to say this is not a band, it is an act.
Secondly, it is proving more obvious by the day that the latest well-hyped single or LP is nothing more than a fashion accessory for the pre-teen.
This collection of individuals (I can't bring myself to use the word 'group') represents so much that is wrong with the British music industry today, and will be forgotten in two years time by all who have wasted their money on buying this shit.
Personally, I find the single instantly forgetable dross, which if released without all the blood-sucking industry crawlers' support would do nothing in any chart.
It is long overdue that real talent was encouraged, so the charts are once again an area of creative interest as apposed to this succession of sub-standard, over-rated rubbish which constantly recieves far more support and attention that it could ever warrent.
Send these acts to the end of the pier where they belong, or preferably off it.

They're overhyped.
Near'say?? my god that's ridiculous! I thought a "tribute" band was something that formed in honour of a good group?!
I heard the Chris Moyles version the other day in the car - I'm CERTAIN now they ripped off All Saint's 'Never Ever'.

Fair enough, they MAY be good singers, but I think there's enough genuine groups out there that put all the work in but never get a break, so that it stinks when this sort of thing happens. These people get all the fame for so little input, and some really talented people are left to little backstreet pubs, or to someone's bedroom.

oh yeah, does ne1 know who the real winner is? it's that Nigel, who got them 2gthr!! He's made £1.5 million, where the group only got £400 000 between them!!

We are all in the gutter.
The difference between us is that some of us face skyward..

I think that the group is just a front. Any of the thousands of people who auditioned could have got places in the band. I think the auditions were just a way to get "faces" for the band.
All they wanted was five people to call a band in order to sell the song. I don't think you can call any of them talented because they were just thrown together and used to get record sales.
Personally the band and the TV programme really annoys me. It was like "Anyone can be a popstar if they have the dream" but you can't.
I hated it because it was so predictable. I bet that they will dump their manager so they can prove they aren't as manufactured as everyone says they are.
And they're not fat. I was shocked when they said they were going to be the first fat pop group cos they aren't fat at all. Anyway Claire should have been in the group if they are a fat group as they say cos she was a really good singer.
I think the whole thing is really cheesy

One thing that always needs to be beared in mind is that how would this group of done without the media attention prior to releasing the debut single. I personally don't think the group would of sold a quarter of the records it did without the show 'popstars', the record isn't exactly anything very clever its just a standard pop-type record (probably written by Stock, Atkin and Waterman from the sound of it), it just goes to show that to make it in todays charts all you need is good media coverage not talent.

hear say are crap!
I've seen better manufactured things come out of MFI. They can sing but they can't dance and only one of them can play instruments. I give them 5 months.

By the way am i the only one who cannot bear to listen to danny's voice!?!

If it weren't for the optimist, the pessimist would never know how happy he isn't.
