mp3 onto mini disc?

rite,

can u put mp3's onto mini discs and if u can how do you do it? do you have to link up the stereo to the puter sumhow (i dont have a recordable portable).

my m8 sed u cud do it, but i didn't understand how! <IMG alt="image" SRC="http://www.thesite.org/ubb/confused.gif"&gt;

    this is how i thing it could work!

    the only way i think u can connect ur system is direcxtly through ur soundcard, then recording it through ur stereo,

    Actually, i dunno if it works, me is confused

    i wanna download songs from napster to mini discs...and this guy told me you have to get a CD writer so it will write the songs onto the CD from napster...
    then i guess you can always record the CD onto a mini disc...

    don't know is this what u want...but i'll fit it in anyway!

    Hey! First post! Bit nervous actually but I dunno y.

    mp3 to MiniDisc then. Right I been doin this with a portable recorder so dont blame me if it aint the same for u. U need a digital optical cable - I got one with the recorder. One end goes in your optical/line in of the MiniDisc bit and the other end in the headphone socket of the PC. Easy as that. The quality of it may suffer a bit but I aint sure y that is yet. Let me know

    U got all that from a name? Thats very impressive. I do like robbie (although not a devout fan), I use this name all the time and no one else ever made that sort of comment bout it - taa. The signature is phonics. Its a song name off the 2nd album (they both great albums and there a new one out soon!)

    Just thought I'd add that I'm sure i heard somewhere that Turtles can have a very painfull "nip" if u let em. I wouldn't really know bein from the Midlands but still. I sure ur all alright n that I'll get used to u all.

    oh i so knew that was phonics as soon as i read it lol

    and i knew the ego has landed was a phonics fan, last summer i saw it in virgin megastores in NY and a few friends bought it ... but i aint seen it round here so i know just as much as turtle <IMG alt="image" SRC="http://www.thesite.org/ubb/tongue.gif"&gt;

    know nothing abut mp3s and minidiscs together drifter though lol sorry! <IMG alt="image" SRC="http://www.thesite.org/ubb/biggrin.gif"&gt;

    If you don't have recordable MD player how CAN you record onto MD? Is it a hi-fi seperate that you use to record MD's Drifter?
    If so then i guess the best option is to link it upto the soundcard output so the quality doesn't get any worse, and the best way to do that is the Optical cable that someone was talking about earlier cos tha'll keep your quality high and it's the easiest way to link the 2 together.
