It's Japanese, but not like pokemon @ all.

It's basically about these slappars who fancy this boy called Tenchi & flirt with him badly (whislt saving the universe, lah di da).

Oh yeah, the artwork is kick ass!

I was tellin u about Tenchi last year when we were chattin about anime.

It comes on cartoon network now (but it is years old) and it still rocks.

Saw most of em years ago but they r still really cute and funny.

(nothing like pokemon at all)!

Why does any manga have to be associated with pokemon these days?! it pisses me off.

U need to have been watching ghost in the shell and akira years ago to be able to fully appreciate what i am saying

Actually liberty, I was watching this documentary on bbc choice last night about the club scene in tokyo. it looks wicked. i have wanted to go there for years but after seeing that show lastnight, i am starting to think i should try and go next year.

tokyo is so cool, the gadget central of the world. so fast and upbeat and neon lights evrywhere!

and everyone looks mad the way they dress so i reckon i will totally fit in.

I'm going to see if I can order the Tenchi Muyo uncut videos from the local shop. I like the cartoon network series, but I heard they cut it out & it's really funny cos it's sex jokes all the way!!!
Pokemon is associated with most anime/manga, which is a shame cos it's a piss poor example.
Ghost In The Shell rocks!!! Gotta watch Akira.
Anyways, I'd like 2 go 2 Japan one day, only it's expensive so I'll have to get a job.

By the way, do you know if Ranma's gonna be comming 2 the uk?

You can get loadsa ranma off the net and just about any anime.

its just that the videos r not normally pal so u won't be able to play them. and vcds r more readily available anyway.

u really need to have a dvd player.

But for now, y don't u just get some vcds and watch them on your pc?

Or better still, hook it up to your vcr to record them!

Got DragonHalf 2day, the artwork wasn't too good but it was fairly funny. I heard Tenchi uncut is gonna be on Sci-fi channel soon. The stuff they cut out of it is hysterical!!!
