I'll consider wearing my bikini if you wear yours!

Actually I'm lying, it's far too cold to wear a bikini! Also I think my calendar has broken, it doesn't go up to the 32nd of March

    :p

Kermit, I'll see your bikini dress code and raise you a grass skirt and a lei.

That's what I was planning to wear anyhow.

JsT: you won't make the one-minute connection. The layout of Carlisle (a single lead to Newcastle/Leeds, and the Newcastle and Leeds platforms being next to each other) gives you an almost chance, but not quite.

Get here when you want then. 1356 is early enough.
How much recovery time do the Leeds - Carlisle's have in them? ;o

Depends which one you get. Normally about 5-10 minutes.

You could get lucky. The Newcastle and Leeds lines are the same for about a mile out of town before they diverge. There's a single lead into the station from the line- the Newcastle train can't leave if the Leeds one is on the single lead. The two bay platforms are next to each other.

Look up the recovery time. Compare the difference between Armathwaite-Carlisle and Carlisle-Armathwaite. It's normally about 10 minutes. Quite often this is gobbled up.

Carlisle's a nice place to spend an hour or so. Plenty of freight if you want to watch the trains.

Why don't you get the 0619 from Leeds instead?:p

The 0619 would probably be too early for buses, especially on a Saturday. There is about 5 mins recovery in the timetable, so if its on time it'd be fine. Otherwise I'd be fucked, I wouldnt mind waiting an hour I suppose. I'd have to think.

    Someone has to.

You must be the only one in there who isn't obese, 46, wearing a boob tube and a mini skirt, and showing all 912 layers of flab over the top, under the bottom, and through the sides.

    Yeugh.
