Rock Idol???

Ne 1 else think this is a little pathetic? Rock FM are starting it up and kerrang have started sommet similar. i love rock music and stuff but it's just so stupid especially since my opinion of pop idol was rubbish too! no offense intenended for ne 1 who liked pop idol!

Rock Idol wouldnt work because rock is not a manufactured type of music whereas pop is, thats why pop idol/pop stars were a huge success.

That would be a seriously crap idea. Since it was mainly rock fans who slagged pop idol and pop stars I can't see how it could possibly work.

Mind you, theres so many teeny boppers claiming to be moshers these days it wouldnt surprise me if it did succeed.

Errrrr no they are not. I remember seeing a TV interview with Linkin Park. They've been friends since they were kids. So how can they be manufactured?

Limp Bizkit aren't manufactured. They were good at one time (before they sold out). You've only got to listen to songs like Break Stuff, Faith, Nookie etc to see that they were once a great band. Just because they are popular doesn't mean they are manufactured.
