Did anyone else watch tonights episode. I think it is really entertaining, but I am now scarred for life (excuse the pun) because I cannot get the image out of my head when the man put the woman's hand in the hot fat, and then her face...eek!

We didn't even see anything but I can imagine it. Powerful TV eh.

got a bit heavy, but it was still bloody good. most satisfying bit was at the end where the MI5 man on a motorbike did a drive-by shooting and assasinated the nasty bloke. my university plugs MI5 (properly called the Security Service) on it's careers website. looked alright to me, but the website decribes jobs which sound a bit more realistic than what was on the telly. still, hot fat (acid?) wasn't pretty. shame really, because the girl was. very.

As an MI5 agent myself, I would like to point out it simply isn't realistic.

Life in the secret service is far more dangerous and we save the world about once a week, on average.

The nearest production if seen which best sums up the role I play for queen and country is James Bond, thats what its really like

Have to say that I really enjoyed last nights episode!

However like Bumblebee, it was really hard trying to get the image of helens face and hand being deep fried out of my head.

I think the BBC has messed up badly on 24.

They hardly promoted it at all and then put it on at a stupid time. I suppose we should be thankful they tried to rectify their mistake by showing the first four episodes again.

This is all really frustrating as I wanted to watch it. Maybe I'll catch repeats on Choice.

As for Spooks. Entertaining, but about as close to the real MI5 as Roy of the Rovers is to the Premiership. And why are all the characters such cliches? High flying public school boy, up and coming fit young girl, angry black guy out to prove himself.

David Shayler wrote a good article in the Guardian about how inaccurate it is. (Although I find the use of flat screen monitors is always a dead giveaway)
