Owls

No, not the birds.

Is anyone here an owl like me? It's 4am already and I don't feel sleepy at all... And I'm lonely. :(

Hey I'll keep you company. It's only 23:06 over here, but I've stayed posting until 4 am before.. so you're not the only night owl. :)

For us in the proper time zone it's only about 2 in the morning. I usually stay up late.

it's 2:30, i was tired about an hour ago, but it's gone now. When i'm at home, the family are around, so i tend to sleep during the day, and then spend my night times awake when they're in bed. (as much as i love them like)

I wish I could do that... Well I can, I do it some times when I have to get up at 6 for uni, but then I'm half (or more) asleep during lectures and lab work...

I've always had trouble getting up early, when I was in Uni I hardly ever made it to the first classes in the morning.

At least in this semester, the professor I had on Monday morning was so funny that we all laughed, and it woke us up somehow.

"...So how can I, the puny <<, carry over a whole set of characters to the screen? BUT THEY OVERLOAD ME! THEY GIVE ME A SHOT IN THE ASS AND I BECOME THE INCREDIBLE HULK!!!" :D

lol, what course are you in Zalbor?
  • Indrid ColdIndrid Cold Posts: 16,688 Skive's The Limit
It doesn't work exactly that way here. I'm a student for computer science (full title: Technological Educational Institue of Athens (TEIA), School of Technological Applications, Department of Computer Science).

This guy teaches C and C++ programming.

Sounds like the course i would have loved to done had i not wrecked any chances of getting into a computer course by screwing with the schools network at the age of 15. I tried self teaching myself c/c++, but y'know, other languages are more...forgiving to the first time programmer.

Oh well, English is good ;)

I have no idea what that means, I really don't know anything about computers really.

Good thing he wakes you up though. I don't think any if my teachers had that power... In school I remember my philosophy teacher was famous for his ability to put you to sleep though.

Heh... We have several of those at uni. During a lecture of one of them, I think half the students were asleep.
We even had definitions for "Superman sleep" and "Batman sleep". Superman is if, when you're sleeping on a desk, you have one arm under your head and the other stretched out. Batman when both arms are crossed under your head. :D

C and C++ are programming languages by the way. A set of commands you can use to write programs.

Hehe, I'll add it to my "similar words" dictionary.
A form of the verb "To sit" in greek sound like a dirty word for "Penis" in italian.
The word for "Ashtray" sounds like "Blowjob" in Turkish.
And the word for "English people" sounds exactly like "Ugly" in english. :p
