Following on from the 'What's in your CD player right now?' and 'What were your latest MP3 downloads?' I thought I'd ask

What book everyone is reading right now?

Not that I expect any of you are reading you spend so much time on the net!

Don't laugh, but I am reading Little Women. Have never read it before, and as it's a classic I just had to buy it when I saw it.
And it is REALLY sweet. A good break from everyday life.

Though I would recommend "Demian" by Hermann Hesse. An excellent book, which I think that everyone can relate to, one way or another.

After a series of teen easy reading, I've gone back to the very funny and very very good Men at Arms by Terry Pratchett (a Discworld book). It's so good!! But I'm gonna start Lord of the Rings soon, as my sis has nicked our copy so I haven't got round to starting it yet!!

i didn't think much to the child called it series, i realise what a horrific life the author led but thought it was just a documentation of abuse without much depth. I'm currently reading Restorative Justice: Ideas, values and debates for uni (which as you can imagine is extremely exciting)and disco biscuits for pleasure.

i'm currently realding a book called Dating Big Bird by Laura Zigman. I'm also reading Inconcievable, by Ben Elton, but i had to give it back to the library cos i told the librarian that i would only take it out for one day and she was chasing me round college (long story, don't ask!). Oh yeah, and i'm reading The Handmaids Tale by Margaret Atwood - it's really good, would recommend it to everyone cos it's really accessable unlike some of her other books.

I have just finnished reading Sidney Sheldon's "Tell me your dreams" and now I am going back to reading my favourite book "To kill a mocking bird"

On subject of Dave Pelzer, fantastic series of books, an inspirational guy, what was the outcome of libel action? I cannot believe that anyone would choose to be knoen as "the child abuse guy" if he was lying
