definately not right. shouldn't hurt at all. Are you using tube applicator ones or finger pushers? Maybe you're pushing thetube in too far before pressing the plunger? or maybe you're aiming striaght up rather thann backwards?

towels are gross yes,and they feel mank but its something you have to put up with. it's only like a bandage after all.
