I've just been listening to Basemant Jaxx's abum, and all the songs are damn good. The best one though, without a doubt is called Breakaway, it is BLOODY GENIUS

That album is brilliant, Where's Your Head At is pure unadulterated funk. The video to go with it is fab too.
Who's got the Alicia Keys album? The girl is a genius, and still only 21.
*tries in vain to hold back jealousy*
'Mr Man' and Girlfriend are works of art.

I can't stand garage or music like that but there is one song I heard the other say on MTV, its got robbie williams and that guy in Faithless in it. Its by One Giant Leap I think, that's nice to listen to

I honestly couldn't say what the best rock song ever is tho, there's so many awesome ones to choose from; a few guns N roses tracks, Metallica, Iron Maiden some great classics there.

Not sure about this wave of Nu Metal tho, it all sounds too similar.

Oh and The Kids Aren't Alright by the Offspring is a great song. It's the song that got me into rock in the first place

Wouldn't say its the best in the world but I'm a big fan of all the Groove Armada stuff, the hits over the past few years have been excellent:

* I see you baby (Shaking that ass)
* At The River
* Superstylin
* My Friend

quality tracks...

Oh yes, one of their best. I don't really like much of their newer stuff, but that song is so...poignant I think.

Anyway, Nothing Else Matters by Metallica is my fave. Doesn't make it the best song in the world tho, just my fave and too me, nothing else matters, lol

Deeby Doo - you're a great poster, you do loads of research for people and are really helpful, but will you please start using full stops and the word 'and' instead of 'n' all the time?

Pretty please??

Couldn't agree more. Scary scary scary.
And Dido's album is amazing. I love her voice- I want it, so I can sing along to her CD while on a train without getting quite as many funny looks...
