On Wednesday, I got myself a Sony NetMD N707...but then I found out that the latest one from Sony is the NetMD N1 (very sleek!). I can still return the N707 (as long as it's within 7 days)...and get myself the latest one, here's the but, but I'm wondering whether I really NEED to have the latest one...

So, I need some support (to stick with what I currently have) or some advice (whether I should get the latest one). Also, I would like to know what most of you people use (CD, MD, MP3... player)...

Please? Looking forward to any reply.

I use a minidisc player. It's good cause i can download MP3's from net, then record them onto MD!!

Best option by far. Don't get MP3 player, unless you ain't got ur own comp. If you have Winamp or the equivalent, why bother????

Not sure if you know what the difference is between the NetMD and normal MD, but here's a simple point: NetMD can record at 32x speed (when using USB2 - 480mbit/s, and LP4). It lets you record MP3, Wave, Windows Media Audio (WMA) files to your MD, along with the title names...and you don't have to wait for 74 mins to record an album (In my test, 74 mins of music at LP4 takes about 5 mins).

    An update:
I found the MZ-N1 online at a UK website, selling for only £206!!! So I returned the N707 to Dixons (which I paid £200 for). Online shopping seems to be so much cheaper, and now I've ordered the N1, hope it will arrive at my doorstep soon.

The MDLP function is good, but does lower sound quality a bit (if you have good hearing, I don't, therefore not noticable). If any one is interested, I'll keep you up to date with what the N1 is like when I get it.
