    My mates used to defend themselves, and all rushed to make sure they were 'de-virginised.' and ALL of them regret it.

    I chose to wait.... Admittedly I didn't wait long but I'm happy with my choice, as I'm still with the guy I lost it to over a year later. Whereas most of the girls I know weren't with the lad they lost it to til the end of that week, let alone month or year!

    Sex is pretty much over-rated, i've never done a girl sober before, doesn't really feel that good when your drunk, definately not the shit you see in pornos anyway.

    lots of relationships don't last, whether you're 15 or 35, whether its the first time or the 100th time you've had sex.

    Its interesting how thesite seems neatly divided into those who think of sex as special and important and those who think of it as fun and games (bad wording but you understand my point I hope).

    I wonder how these opinions develop? Is it from friends and the environment you grow up in or is it totally down to individual opinion?

    I've had the chance to lose it, but the person / time hasn't been right.

    No biggie really. I'd rather be in a settled relationship. I guess i class fun and games as monopoly and tig.

    I could be a virgin. When I lost it I didn't even care. Didn't care that I was one, don't care that I'm not. The whole thought of it never appealed. Its just a word. Sex is just a passtime.

    I think sex is special and very important in a relationship but that's not to say you have to be in a relationship to have sex.

    Maybe I should word it differently: If I was given a choice now, to keep being a virgin or not to, I'd choose to stay one.
    But I have never been given that choice, and that's all that bothers me pertraining to virginity.
