They our nu metal but not crappy nu metal like limp dipstick.
The singer is relly good and versatile.
Their a bit like rage agains the machine . But they our not a rap rock . More like melodic/heavy metal group. They do have a good abstract politcal message. The gutiar riffs our pretty black sabath.

I agree with Anarchism completely, SOAD RULE!

Has anyone ever heard these bands?
Adema
Disturbed
Tool
They kick ass too but not as much as SOAD.

yeah those 3 bands r really good too, especially tool. their album is wikid. but yes system r still the best and i think their strongest point is serj's vocals and lyrics which r really amazing. he doesnt go on about how brutal life is like slipknot nor does he sing about how he is the best like fred durst of limp. but the whole band is great and its great seeing a non complete american band doing so well

Yeah its kool cos they just sing about life how it is, they`re not really depressing like Slpknot etc.
If ne1 here likes SOAD, download the following songs by Adema as they r v. kool.
Givin In
Speculum
Pain Inside
Trust
and half a dozen others.

SOAD are very good, but AC/DC remains my favourite.

Lateralus is an excellent album by Tool and "Givin in" by Adema is amazing!

I can't wait till 22nd March when I go and see SOAD live at the Manchester Academy.

They've been around awhile so they aren't new.

They are not to be classified as anything. That goes against their whole theme. People themselves will list them as Nü Metal. I mean the whole anti-strutural belief they have is against being labeled. They think to much and try to identify things. When people try to label something they limit it's peripherals. Anarchism you of all people should understand that.

SOAD are bloody amazing, and i'm going to see them on the 26th of March!!!! Saw them at the Reading Festival too and they killed the rest of the bands that day.

I find Tool are a bit boring, but Disturbed are excellent live.

If you like SOAD try downloading some stuff by Dog Fashion Disco and The Dillinger Escape Plan, very similar kinds of music, both are/were going to support SOAD on thier upcoming tour.
