i went for 4 years and enjoyed it i dont know if it cornwall st johns but stay clear they are poorly organised rubbish at anything! i used to love it but for 3 years went through hell there after three years decided to give up! im sorry i couldnt be of much help but it really is not that good! but i cant complain that much because i met my boyfriend who attended the adult division and when i joined adults we became very close. but that is over 16's only! cadets are not that good though!

I was in SJAC in Accrington (where the M6 is cobbled) for several years. It used to be quite good, but it broke down and ended up with the kids acting more mature than the adults.
The amount of activity varied. Being on duty at footie matches or other events was always good, and we usually had a good rappore with the Lemon-And-Limes (paramedics).
I remember once though, at a horse show, there was a 12 year old girl who was walking under a steel sign about the size of a Bus Stop sign when it fell on her, splitting her scalp open. This wouldn't have been so bad except for the blood, but the horse she was leading then spooked and trod on her head. I (then 15) sat with her, holding her hand, telling her she'd be alright, until the ambulance came. She died on the way to the hospital. It still fucks me up sometimes.
Personally, I'd stay away from the SJAC. They've become disorganised recently, and it doesn't bode well for them.

its not that bad though but cadets are not allowed to administer first aid until an adult says its alright therefore the person could die in your company but cadets arte only there as people to run and fetch bandages! (slaves they used to be called) this is due to the fact insurance does not cover younger members!
