What in gods name does a leather technician do? is this a posh name for someone who creates interesting props for s and m clubs?? i bet it's something far more mundane though.<P class="body">a friend of mine, who is not dumb, just lazy, got told he should think about being a labourer. talk about setting your sites high. still, our careers officer was a prat.

My C.O was compleately useless he never gave you any feedback on anything we discussed during our 10 min' chats and he never showed me any direction.
I have lots of things I'd like to do, and lots of places I'd like to go, but as money is scarce for me I'm sticking to the care job I do which keeps me in chips, fags and vodka.

I took part in this career search thing and got replies back like fence erector and cleaner..... apparently they came out because of my aspirations to do work which helps the public. I'm currently studying 4 A-levels with a view to go to uni, they obviously don't feel that this should be taken into consideration!

I also tried a career search program... in the list there were a number of decent jobs, but there were also a few (well lots) of awful ones.
I should be either: a funeral director, a pest exterminator or a careers advisor!!
That 2 me looks like they r running their own little recruiting system!

i was told i'd ought to be an engineer of some kind, based on the fact that i like taking things apart.

what they didn't realise is that i've never put anything back together lol

And all the grown-ups say is sorry, cos we got no reply.

i hate careers advisors, theyre shit. and them programs too and the questionnaires you do. my CO was so patronising when she was writing my report thing and she wrote it with her words, but as if i was writing it <IMG alt="image" SRC="http://www.thesite.org/ubb/confused.gif"&gt; suffice it to say i never read that again!!

my horoscope is probably more accurate, saying id be a good detective, somethign to do with medicine or psychologist or counsellor or something like that. ive always liked science and im doing a degree in biochemistry with any luck.. and i even think id make a pretty good psychologist, which at first i thought nahhh but now im thinking about it.. who knows?

Most people i know who did it came back with farmer or brewer.

Now i can understand people wanting to be a brewer but a farmer???
