Could anyone help please??

I have a job interview tomorrow for an accountant trainee and whilst its a good job I really have little idea what I want to do still so dont want to get too bogged down. The thing is something Ive always really liked the idea of is becoming a holiday rep in like Mallorca and them sort of places but have no idea how to get into that sort of work. Does anyone have any advice that could help me? Id be extremely grateful.

Dont worry, in interview the fact that u dont reallywant the job will come across, so you may not get the job.

As for being a rep, I arent sure, but Id suggest contacting the big travel firms such as JMC or Airtours and asking for information- I think they start recruiting about 9 months before the holiday season.

I wanted to be a travel rep once and someone my mum knew had a really god job in this area. She started off as a travel rep then managed to get promoted and she got to travel all over the world staying in hotels making sure they were up to scratch for the guests. I remember her saying the best thing to do is to pop into some travel agents and ask them if they having any vacancies or write off to a company and ask about reps etc.

Go for the interview though, and if they end up offering the job you can have a think about if it's what you want, that way you have a bit of time to find out more about the travel thing. Good luck <IMG alt="image" SRC="http://www.thesite.org/ubb/smile.gif"&gt;
