Never thought I'd say this but Coventry isn't too bad really if you live in the right parts and never have to go to the shitty ones.

    Where is this list anyway?

Kermit, burnley is quite pretty in the nice areas

    I'm only teasing, I can't help it.

Burnley town is horrid IMHO, but much of Pendle is lovely. There's plenty of good little pubs out and about towards Clitheroe and Bowland.

My town is pretty crappy. Not really many nice places to go. Loadsa chavs/townies everywhere, wanna be gangsters who drive around revving their engines because they think it's cool. There are some pretty shitty run down areas too. My town is surrounded by loads of pretty villages which are really expensive to live in. For instance, Gerrards cross, the most expensive place to live in the whole of the UK or something is pretty near. Shame my town sucks ;[

i live on the end of a long straight road, it's covered in speed bumps but you still get these boy racers flying down at 1am screeching round really loud (might i add this is right outside my room) and go zooming back up again. We have a stone wall round our garden and a hedge on top of that, and a few years ago, some drunken idiot came zooming down smashed into the corner of our wall and drove off. It bought down the whole of that corner of wall. Counting the 3rd time thats happened. We actually have a pattern of different brick colours lol.

Although Nottingham's got a pretty high crime rate i actually like my little town just outside the city. Nice area, of course you get your usual group of chavvy kids etc but the majority of people round where i live are nice people. The cities pretty nice also you just gotta make sure you stay away from certain areas of it.

my best mate lives in darlo. only until she can afford to leave, though. :thumb:

i quite like leeds. it has plenty of shit areas, chavs, dumps and suicide bombers, but there are also lots of really nice areas, and there's always something to do. since the new primark opened i have no reason to ever leave.

i like where our new house is, too. it's in a council/ex-council area, but everyone's nice enough, and half a mile up the road you hit some stunning countryside round eccup reservoir. failing that, it only takes 10 minutes the other way to get into town.

My town is full a da bloodclaat an batty boy aiii

Are you sure you live in the UK Moonrat? Because I've never heard anyone talk like that, unless you're communting between here and Kingston Jamaica and certainly I've never heard anyone talk like that in North Wales. They don't even talk liek that in Brixton, Hackney or Harlesden anymore. You're linguistic surroundings are obviously more exciting than mine.

    I win.

    Braintree is very very shit.

    Aylesbury runs a close second.

However when I'm back to Uni, Exeter is great. And apparantly the second sexiest city in the UK....

    Ooh. Exeter sounds good.

I want to move to some European city though. I probably wont ever bother.

She was using ludicrous patois as ironic humour Mazza.

She was mocking all the white Wrexham retards who think they are in da hood.

It's easy to miss sarcasm on t'internet.

I wrote the basildon entry for crap towns at http://idler.co.uk and I stand by it as the worse town I ever lived

Lived and currently residing in gothenburg in sweden, and i personally feel immigrants are invading us since of the welfare system and all the money distributed to the poor / homeless / unemployed. It takes up a lot of money and just isnt a smart idea since the immigrants become more and more and there are already more immigrants than swedes in various major cities

No one has mentioned luton as the worst town! proberly because resisdence from there cant afford computers, but its actually offically voted worst town in england. I live close to luton, but luckily far enough away that i cant see or smell it.

I like my home town of Watford, but then again ive lived there for the last 6 years so ive got nothing else to compare it against at a similar age.

I thought Portsmouth had the biggest council estate in Europe? So i heard anyway

I quite like Portsmouth, did have a bit of a shitty reputation before but its smartened itself up in recent years especially with the revamping of the Harbour etc, i like it theres always plenty of things to do and places to go, so many different towns in it and they all seem so different

I don't like the area I live in but I do like Birmingham a lot. There is always something going on, there are nice parks, quite a good nightlife, theatres, good shopping, and you can get out of the city to hills/lakes pretty easily.

I moan about it but when I go somewhere else I miss it.

Stockport. Worst town ever. Think it was described for being famous for the 192 bus - something about being likely to get bottled on it.

    That's my bus. Yay.

    Nope, I was mocking Monocrat.

However most white women in RnB and hip hop nights here think they're Beyonce in their Primark clothes.

Anyway, as for my own town... It's too small for me and it is a bit of a dive to be honest. It has its own fashion code, it's own breed of Welsh, but the beer and drugs are cheap I guess.

I love living in my village. Life's a dos.

Too many rich rebellious gothic type dickheads though.
