Anyone know if Johnny deep is actually a journalist and the guy with him his attorney or are they just so messed up that they're thinking that?
Just watched it for the millionth time and theres parts i don't recall seeing..

    The movie is based on a book, and the book is a real account of this journalist sent to Vegas to cover a bike race and an attorney convention. He takes his lawyer along and they both get pretty fucked up. So yes, the movie tells it more or less like it was.

    had to watch that film about 3 times before I understood it.

    The book is fantastic, read it!

    I was totally anti-drugs when a friend lent me it. I read it, and less than 6 months later the curiousity had got the better of me... nuff said really <IMG SRC="biggrin.gif" border="0" ALT="icon">

    I have to admit I didn't believe for a second they could re-create it in a film, but it was a really good effort. Jonny Depp did a great job.
