I start my first full time job tomorrow and im kinda nervous about it. i was just wondering how everyone found their first days at work? any tips for settling in etc? would be much appreciated!

Just be yourself! That's the best way to get settled in. Be polite and ask as many questions as you need to, you'll look keen.

Yeah, ask questions, it's always better than getting it wrong.

Smile, be friendly and helpful, and try and ignore the shyness and don't be afraid to speak when you need to, just be yourself as SheHasNoTime said.

Remember, only you know how nervous you are, so no one else will notice if you act yourself

Dnt hold ur self bk to much, dnt wait for people to tell you what to do if you think you know just do it!! Dnt be shy too, everyone of new one day! Be open and you'll get settled even quicker!

Don't talk in txt speak because people will think your about 12 and have the intullectual capacity of a flea

just be yourself, find out as much information as possible. Be friendly and dont worry too much. The employers will understand that its your first day!!

yeah, be polite and friendly, make an effort with people, and ask questions....and pay attention when someone's telling/showing you how to do something
