edited January 2023 in General Chat
Sorry for a fairly lame topic but I'm in the car on given 4 hours a day, and after this weekend I'll be spening a nice six hour in one go. I'm in a mood for like fun upbeat singalong songs. However I have gone blank on any ideas that I had thought of before. Now I have like Sugar by Fallout Boy, a coupld Bloodhound Gang and some fun covers. If anybody has any ideas for me it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

:thumb: Good man. He's practically my neighbour, went to school with him and he played my 18th birthday. Him and Marley are local boys.

I love my old skool favourites when driving....
Fat Controller - In Complete Darkness
    Midas - Groove Control
    Happy Rollers - 95 Style
Force & Evolution - High On Life
    SL2 - On A Ragga Tip
Happy Tune - Rushin On Pink Champagne
A bit of Congo Natty/Tribe of Issachar/Rebel MC is always good too.

I have a Scorpio & Producer technodrome tape which is best played at full volume in a residential area. Love it.

Me thinks I'd have to ram you two off the road. I can't stand trance crap blaring out of a car with speakers more powerful than the engine. :p

In answer to the question, it'd have to be the Grand Theft Auto: Vice City soundtrack, surely?

Just few that pop to mind that I've been caining recently.

    Tracy Chapman - Fast Car
Barrington Levy aways chills me out when I'm driving
Prodigy makes me drive like loon, but it's fun.
Handsome Boy Modeling School - The Worlds Gone Mad
    Mattafix - Big City Life
    Reel Big Fish - Beer

And of course Mongo Jerry - In The Summer Time "Have a drink have a drive, go out and see what you can find' :D

I spend most of my time in a Sprinter, which is kitted out with some serious sounds, you could try and ram me off the road in that, but I doubt you'd get very far. :p

The pop station in that game is pure quality... Blondie - Atomic, Cutting Crew - Died in Your Arms, Toto - Africa etc ...all it's missing is A-Ha - Take on Me.

I reckon I could manage it if I borrowed my stepdad's pickup. It's a quality vehicle. We had to catch the electric window and pull it up because it jammed the other day. Indestructable......honest.

You've got an excuse though, you've got a big van. I have to laugh when you get people making as much noise as possible, and you turn round, and they're driving the biggest piece of shit known to man (actually, usually the smallest piece of shit known to man). I mean why would you want to draw attention to that? Small man syndrome extending to cars? I guess I'm into being more inconspicuous myself.

Obviously there are some tits that play to pose, but you might also get a loud system in you car for the same reasons you might get one in your house. Music sounds better played loud. You can't deny that.
Driving round the block with cranked right up is pretty anti social, and there is a time and place where it is acceptable to blast your music out.

Nah, buy an amp and speakers that are too big or too small for your room and it'll sound shit. Same with cars. I can't stand getting a lift with my sisters boyfriend, because he's got a hug woofer in it and all you hear is bass. Give me the £5k stereo that gets fitted into a new Lexus any day.
