does anyone know what the dress code is for working in telesales?

    Your company will tell you what the dress code is, but if in doubt you go to work in a business-like attire. It's easier to dress smart downwards than it is to dress scruffy upwards.

    In the call centre I used to work in it was strictly shirt and tie.

    I suppose it depends on the sort of company it is really. When I was in telesales I didn't have a dress code. But then it was a small, informal company. If you are working for a big executive company then they might want smart.

    There is no harm in phoning up and asking whether it is smart or casual dresswear.

    when ive worked in call centres, it was always shirt and tie. professional dress promotes professional attitude and all that.
