Road Trip songs

I'm just putting a CD together for a trip to the seaside with my 2 housemates. But need some ideas, we want stuff that is girlie and poppy but also rockier stuff thats just good to sing along. We got some madonna, darkness, cher and some dancey stuff so far. Any suggestions?

    I love that song so much - also anything off of the dazed and confused sound track....

    Lots phrophets - the summer one i can't remember its name.

    I also really like california by 2Pac - but thats because it reminds me of the summer and driving round with all my friends loads and loads.
