I've got my 1st ever job interview this coming Friday @ Safeway :yippe:

I'm very excited:hyper: but on the other hand crapping myself :nervous:

    Anyway good luck. You'll be fine. My first ever interview was with Tesco and I got the job. It shouldn't be rocket science.

    It shouldn't be too hard. I've been working at Morrisons since last summer...anyway, hope it goes okay. Post back about how it went. :)

    Interviews for supermarkets are a piece of piss, they'll just ask you why you want to work there and what your hobbies are! I told the Co-Op that i needed the money! I think they appreciated my honesty cause they hired me.

    Yeah, the interview isn't that demanding. As satehen said they will probably ask why you want to work there and your hobbies. I once worked at Safeway and one question they asked was to describe my strengths and weaknesses and how these could be improved upon.

    When I get the job on Friday then it'll be the end of 2+ years of failure to move on from GCSE's.

    I will have finallly moved on @ long last:) I've always said that 2005 was the year for me.

    Yeah, they had to sell some stores because of anti-competition laws. If there was a Safeway and a Morrisons too close together, they had to get rid of one.

    Safeway in Stockton became Sainsbury's.

    I've got paid induction this Sat from 9am-4pm & then the department manager is going to sort my hours out for next week:)
