Anyways yeah ya right 70% + = 1st
60 - 70 = 2:1
50 - 60 = 2:2
40-50 = 3rd
Every uni is different anyway.
2nd year = 30%
final year = 70%
at least thats what it is at my university.
although they work it on grade points not percentages for degree classifications. like a GP13-15 is a 1st... etc.
At mine it's 22% 2nd year, 33% 3rd year and 44% 4th year (yes i know that only makes 99%! )
I have to get an average of over 50% each year to progress though because it's a masters degree, a batchelors requires 40%
Thats what I mean, you cant hand in one page for your final paper and still get 'with honors' well unless its a dam good single page.
i'd take a guess at 2:1 but you will be able to find out from somewhere, module handbook etc?
1st as an A
2.1 as a B
2.2 as a C
3rd as a D
pass as an E
- but thats at a guess.
