transferring/personal statement take 2

Ok, here's the deal.
I did 1st year French and Italian at Bristol University. I suspended my studies for a year. I am transferring to do the same course at Exeter University, starting in 2nd year in October.
I originally applied to Exeter as one of my 6 choices, and had an offer from them hence why they've said there shouldn't be a problem in accepting me this 2nd time round.
However, I still have to complete a UCAS form. I have no idea what sort of personal statement I should write. Exeter have already read my original one..I can't remember what I wrote though as I can't find the copy of it I thought I had. I'm not sure whether just to write the same type of thing, why I want to do the course blah blah blah, or whether that's really stupid since I've already done a year of it.
I don't want to go too much into why I suspended etc, so I'm not sure where to start.
Anyone done this before/got any bright ideas?
thanks!
