Is it better or worse to be pissed before you take pills?

I'd be interested to find out what the answer is and whether being drunk before actually makes a big difference to your behaviour or not. In Ibiza, alcohol help totally illiminate my nerves about taking my first pill and it put me in a great mood and it was a brilliant night!! Every other time i took pills i was drunk before. Except Cream @ Amnesia (the only time to date i've taken them sober). We dropped in the apartment before we went to get a taxi. I only did a half, and i was a little nervious because I was stone cold sober. And after about 30 mins I started feeling wierd. I think looking back on it, this was me coming up, but I didn't know that it felt like this. So I thought I wasn't feeling that well so I chilled for a bit. Then we got our taxi and went to Amnesia. But in the queue I started feeling a bit sick and dizzy. So I went off to a quiet bit to sit and chill out. I must have been there for about 45 minutes. Some asked if i was OK but I said I was fine. Then eventually I managed to get into the queue but I was paranoid about getting in cos I felt so wierd so I thought I might look totally fucked. Although my jaw or anything wasn't going. I got in fine and then after that it was a decent night. But not as good as times where ive been pretty damn drunk before. What do u all think?

From a purely health POV, you shouldn't really mix alcohol and pills, the diuretic (dehydrating) effect of alcohol is amplified by the pills and could lead to severe dehydration, which is one of the main dangers of pills.
I find when your pissed and do a pill you lose the pissed feeling altogether anyway. When I go out raving or clubbing I drink a couple of alcoholic drinks at the start such as a Smirnoff ICE (beers foul on pills), then I sip water throughout the rest of the night.
Coming up or the "feeling a bit pear shaped" as my mates say is always dodgy at first and you'll get used to it but it will never go away. I almost always feel like it when coming up but you learn to enjoy it! Trust me. You'll get a lot cleaner experience if you don't drink aswell.
