im 13 and i smoke weed --is this normal??

im a 13yr old australian girl and i tried weed for tha 1st time about a month ago. and ive done it alot since then. i was wondering if ppl can give me some tips on tha best way to smoke it etc. and is it normal that i started when im 13?? when did everyone else start?? also i wanna use other stuff to but dont know where to get it.. plz help <IMG SRC="smile.gif" border="0" ALT="icon"> null

I first tried weed when I was 12, and first took a pill at 14, so your not strange...

Try not to do it too much for one after all it'll affect your school work. Make sure you stick with weed as its better on the throat and lungs than hash... don't mix it with tobacco...

You could buy a pipe, try it in a bong (you can get them from Hemp Stores and so newsagents...

Try hot knifes perhaps (heat ends of knifes till near white.. then drop some weed on and inhale the smoke, just do a search on the net and you'll get detailed explainations for others...

Just be sensible really, don't abuse it...

yeah i'm with jc, i don't see its any worse than having your first beer at 13, but as with alcohol do it in moderation - at 13 your brain is still developing and your learning lots, don't jeapodise that <IMG SRC="wink.gif" border="0" ALT="icon">

I think weed at 13 isn't too much of a problem as long as its kept in moderation, but to be honest other stuff such as pills or acid IMHO should be left for later.

At that age, and up to the end of puberty, really, the brain is still developing, so taking drugs which alter the way your brain works could do some damage to the development process.

yeah...I agree with what the guys said earlier...DON'T SMOKE TOO MUCH!! At 13, 'high' will do...and definately don't let your parents find out, cos u could be in a lot of shit, because your only 13 they probably still regard you as their little princess! U definately don't want anything harder than dope yet, it'll fuck your exams up...which will fuck your life up!!

I tried it around that age, and I turned out fine!

Apart from the fact I get mashed every night now!

All I can say to you is please, please, dont do any harder drugs, literally nothing if you can help, its not worth the risk.

I recently found out my younger sister who is 14 has been smoking dope, and now I actually give her it out of my supply, just so I know she doesn't have to go to any dealers houses for it, because fuck knows what could happen then..at the end of the day she'll do it with or without my consent, at least I can make it safe for her.

Carry on smoking it if it makes you feel good, just dont do anything stupid..Not all drugs are as "friendly" as weed.

I started smoking weed when I was 12 with my cuz. It was her way of not getting into trouble... drag me along with her and make me take a couple of drags so we would at least get into shit together. love is... lol

but it was great coz i enjoyed smoking it - been smoking since then and havent had any really bad esxperiences so go for it

Woooaaawwww, Just come to the netherlands, Nobody will think its strange Smoking weed on the age of 13. Its legal here and the people know: That when you are young you are Experimenting with everything.

The Way WE smoke it here: We just Take A smoking Paper and Make a Tip (some kind of filter) Then we Crumble The weed And mix it with a 'little' bit of tobacco. Just Turn turn turn and light it

A study in Australia says almost one in five parents think it's acceptable for their children to try cannabis.

Seventeen per cent of parents asked about their kids and drugs agreed with the statement: "Experimentation with marijuana is OK".

The research also found 40% of teenagers have been offered the drug.

Twenty per cent of teenagers were also prepared to accept the offer of a joint or a bong from friends.

Parents finding cannabis acceptable said they would be concerned if teenagers began trying other drugs like Ecstasy and speed.

The figures are part of a major Federal Government study into drug use, reports the Sydney Herald-Sun.

The survey of 1,800 parents and more than 600 young people aged 12 to 17 was commissioned to test the effectiveness of the government's anti-drug ad campaign.


The study also found parents seemed overly optimistic about their children's approach to drugs - 2% felt their children would take ecstasy.
