glucose levels ???

Okay...this is kind of concerning me.
Trying to work this out. Hope you guys can help...

If you have consumed a large amount of sugar.
Then have a blood test to test blood glucose levels - within about an hour of consuming the sugar.
Blood tests come back normal.

Is that right?

Shouldn't the blood tests come back with different results, given the high intake of sugar?

What could be wrong, if anything?

I know it's a bit vague, but there you go ... can anyone help ?

the insulin your body produces keeps the level of sugar in your blood balanced. im diabetic so if i took a shit load of sugar and then tested my blood the results would be sky high and not until i took an insulin injection would it lower the level.

The pancreas does all the work pretty quickly so blood levels are always generally the same.

Apart from type 1 diabetics who rely on regular insulin injections.
