but...it just doesnt make sense

Former MemberFormer Member Posts: 1,876,323 The Mix Honorary Guru
right, gross topic but i really don't get it

basically - my g/f mentioned she has to take out her tampon to go to the toilet (as in have a pee)

and i thought...eh? don't come out the same hole - what's the deal. she didn't really have an explanation for it...she just does it because otherwise it's just...wrong.

any explanations?

that's very strange. you dont have to take a tampon out to go to the toilet. the only thing i can think of is she just doesnt like getting the string attached to the tampons wet. you can push them/hold them out the way though. but theres no actual reason why she has to take them out.

Out of my mind. Back in five minutes.

...eh? I don't understand the tech down there. Will somebody draw me a diagram? LOL. Seriously, explain the piping to me. Some girl told me (I'm sorry) that she had to "blot" her pubic region dry after a wee. Where/how the hell is she taking a slash?

    erm . . .
*decides that someone has to do it*
    right . . .

    We girls have three . . . erm . . . orifices . . . down there, okay?

The one nearest the front is the one for peeing . . . the one in the middle for periods/sex/giving birth etc., and the one at the back for . . . ummm . . . well . . .waste disposal.

    *really hated doing that*
that is only the second time iv had to explain that to a guy
    *is embarrassed*
*decides that it would be typically ironic if someone answered that while she was typing*
*swears never to try to explain female anatomy to a guy again*

    luv Gabz

well i've asked a few people now....

    i knew the anatomy, but thanks <IMG alt="image" SRC="http://www.thesite.org/ubb/wink.gif">

but that's the whole point - everyone i've spoken to has said it's pretty uncomfortable with one in or that they would have to move it about...

but, WHY, when they are two completely different regions...

i can only assume it's because of the pressure exerted when the tampon has swollen to absorb all the moisture etc from inside the vagina...it presses against the "pee hole" and causes an odd feeling or something.

I wasn't aware that this was a problem to some girls. I always thought that you don't feel tampons and that they don't bother you, even when peeing. At least, this is my experience.

I never had problems with tampons and peein (perhaps it cos im a bloke? not sure though) I allways thought the 'peein hole'(or urether) was behind the vagina closer to the rectum.

    Am I wrong?

Ok off original post, but Gabz reply tickled me, reminded me of when my partner (38 yrs old) asked me at a party if i needed to change my tampon to wee. Of course I, being very considerate of his feelings, blurted this out loudly to all present, resulting in several none too accurate back-of-envelope physiology lessons. Not my fault it was news to him that women have 3 orifices heehee

If you're mindless, please take mine.

Ah, right. That will be the invisible piss hole then. I need more exploration down there then, obviously! I'll keep my eyes peeled.

I feel pretty dumb for not knowing, but once a friend asked me if it hurt when a baby came out of a woman's ass! We where about 14/15, I'll never beat that.

Wish me luck, happy hunting, etc. <IMG alt="image" SRC="http://www.thesite.org/ubb/tongue.gif">

Yes, thank-you Gabz. Your pain and embarrasment have saved me from looking like a total dick for not knowing the location of a ladie's mysterious piss-hole. Right at the front? It has got to be pretty close by, perhaps a diagram?... I'm just making it worse aren't I?

    you'll find it easier if you just watch her pissing and trace the stream back <IMG alt="image" SRC="http://www.thesite.org/ubb/smile.gif"> <IMG alt="image" SRC="http://www.thesite.org/ubb/tongue.gif"> <IMG alt="image" SRC="http://www.thesite.org/ubb/smile.gif">

i never have ne probs with tampons. In fact, applying them, especially rounded tip silky applicators, kinda turns me on! next best thing to a dildo in my opinion when it comes to sex on ure own!
