I'm feeling more determined than ever to make some and stick to them. I've done enough giving up in 2004 to last me a long time.

This year i'm really going to :

    • be more positive throughout 2005
    • I wont let so many stupid things get to me
    • I will keep my head up high as much as possible.
    • I will learn to love myself
    • I will try to be more confident again
    • I will try to be more open & Honest about myself and how i feel
    • I am going to care about myself more from now on
    • and most importantly i WILL lose weight this year

all taken from my lj lol

    :D

Can't be arsed with New Year resolutions.
But I'm starting a new job, etc, so I've said I'll make more of an effort to get to know people quicker, and go on staff nights out, etc, more often to get to know people. So, it's just a coincidence, but sort of a new year's resolution too.

Why start tomorrow what you can start today? If you were really determined, you'd just start.

No, it was something me & the nurse whos helping me worked out. Christmas was a tempting time & she advised i started tommorow once all the celebrations were all done & dusted.

I am determined. I was determined when i gave up smoking about 3 years ago & i have never looked back. its all about good timing to give yourself a good start.

I don't really do new years resolutions anymore, mainly because I used to always make them, and get hung up on what I was going to do; without really thinking about how I was going to accomplish it, and it was usually something perfectionistic that was nearly impossible to achieve so then I would let myself down, within a couple of weeks. - It was really just a way of disappointing myself! :(

If I want to promise myself I'll do something - I'll do it at a time when it feels right for me, when I've worked out how, and when I know I have the desire to see it through to the end. - Then I have more chance of sucseeding in it - and making myself feel good. :)

i havent made any official resolutions as i just end up breaking them within a week. i just hope that i can keep my boycotting ways going, as people in real-life are always trying to get me to break them, and that i can attend a meeting with a forum i posto n all the time but we shall see about that.

I don't make resolutions. I'll just be continuing doing what I started in 2004.

Stop worrying so much, graduate, enjoy my life.

i've never had any in recent years, well, not serious ones but i do this year:

    1. the obligatory losing weight. it shall be done!

    2. to seriously try to think about giving up smoking

    3. find a decent paying job

    4. find a decent bloke who won't treat me like an idiot then leave me for my best friend :)

numbers 1 + 4 are looking quite good at the moment, lol.

My resolutions are to eat at least 3 portions of fruit and veg a day (i know the recommended amount is 5, but considering i don't eat ANY at uni, i think 3's a good start...!) and to swim 3 times a week - i intended to last year, but then sprained my ankle and it hurt too much :(
