What games will you be getting this Christmas?

And when I say 'this Christmas', I really mean 'any time soon'.

I wanted to get Fable but need opinions first I guess. Was there a new Resident Evil out or was that just me hallucinating? I only own an Xbox so be telling me what I should get. Sports games/racing games lose, anything else is pretty alright.

I already did. Prince of Persia: Warrior Within.
And I'll probably get Larry too...

assuming you don't hate shooters and have a decent connection to the net i'd recommend halo2... as a singleplayer it's crap, but online it all opens up.

only decent games you have in that selection are burnout and nfsu2, and even that's not great.

I have to disagree with you, based on my own experience, with regards to LOTR: Battle for Middle Earth, I played it the other day and it's rather good. Depends if you're into strategy or not, but comparing it to the other strategy on the market (rome total war) it fares well as a not too involved but still having a personal touch kind of game.

Half-Life 2 is way up there on my list of desirables.
Wouldn't mind getting UT2003 either - it's a bit old now, so should be cheap. I'll have to look at the tenner, and fiver, per game sections in Game/Electronic Boutique. :)
