boob lump

wots the likelyhood of breast cancer @ 19?
ive got a lump in my lft boob, my mum ses its a fatty deposit or wot eva but its worryin me. i know ur all gonna say visit the doc, but i just wanna know how likely it is. it cud b a cyst i guess.

It's not uncommon, I don't know an exact statistic, but you should get it checked out as soon as possible, if nothing else to stop you worrying.

One of the factors that makes breast cancer more common is use of oral contraceptives with a high progestogen content .... I'm only mentioning that because I seem to remember you're on the Pill - is it the progestogen only one?

thanx wild child, i was on the pill 4 3mts nrly a yr ago now, dunno wot 1 though, but it didnt agree with me at all.
i know i shud get it checked out but i dont want sum doctor manhandlin my boobs!

and also, i found the lump and i kept gettin the urge 2 feel it but i cudnt do it as it feels weird, kinda makes me cringe and shiver.
its horrible and scary.

i had a lump, it really hurt, but it was just a cyst in the end. it was like a big hard stone or something (that's what it felt like anyway), but just get it checked out to be sure. you'll feel easier.
