Toenails

Ok I got a question how does one go about cutting their toenails properly? I can't seem to do it nail scissors just can't get them to cut properly. I can only use Clippers and always end up either ripping my toenail or cutting far too much and leave my toe unprotected from the nail. Just wondered if anyone has got any tips for proper nail care.

    Soak your feet to soften your nails & cut your nails straight across. (I usually file the corners a little so they're not sharp).

    When you've finishd, massage your feet with a little vaseline <IMG alt="image" alt="image" SRC="http://www.thesite.org/ubb/smile.gif"&gt;

    I am no expert, and my nails are certainly no beauty-contestants. But I can keep them short. Dad bought this massive clippers, especially designed for tone nails! I just wait till the clicking sound of the deafeated nails can be heard and move on to the next one...

    j9's advice sounds a bit more humane though.. lol

    i use clippers too, i got given these small ones in this little set but they were so evil!!! we have some that are quite wide and so theyre easier to use. god im gonna have to find some that are the same for when i go to uni or im gonna have hyyyyuge long toenails!! scary image.

    its best to do it after a bath or shower when the nails are softer. my toenails are really thick and theres no way id cut them with a scissors for fear of breaking it! lol... you should cut them straight across and not too far down, you just have to be really careful what you do with the clippers coz its so easy to get carried away.

    lol i totally forgot i was writing this! anyway hope it helped a bit.

    i cut mine with scissors. (is that how u spell it?) make sure they are really sharp, and dont cut to far down. painful! <IMG alt="image" alt="image" SRC="http://www.thesite.org/ubb/eek.gif"&gt;

    To make it less painful for nail biters.

    To make it easier to pick your nose (except for nail biters)

    Cos you couldn't play a harp without them

    So you can scratch your brother (or sister)
