So there's like a whole night on Tv dedicated to Bruce Lee.

So my question is why is he so highly thought of when he only made like 5 movies?? And really it's only Enter The Dragon that most people ever remember him for??

The uncut nunchuck scene in Enter the Dragon is good enough.

At the time there was nothing quite like him. A pure pint sized Kung Fu god! :D
Now there are other martial artists, and better filming techniques, special effects, plots, and storylines. So he doesn't seem to be so impressive.
Nowadays he just seems overrated. :(

if you watched the documentary on before the movies you would have found out ;)

he was pretty much responsible for popularising kung-fu movies, as well as helping get more films from the east into the western market.

without him there may not have been things like crouching tiger hiden dragon... etc etc

it wasn't neccessarily about the films but just how fucking dangerous he was at martial arts... he just had so much control over every muscle in his body.

yeah he couldn't act for toffee but he's a martial artist first, and as a martial artist he's arguably the very best there's ever been.

and the films were just him showing off his skills to cheesy storylines. works for me. :D
