    No question about there being a media blackout. No question about the the subsequent public disinterest. Other questions are prompted...
    Question 1: Aren't the 'disinterested' public, (the people who vote for the government!), influenced heavily by the media and therefore the media blackout?
    Answer: Of course they are. They don't recognise this as an issue!
    Question 2: Are the BBC under Michael Grade happy to accept any Government proposition which might one day mean arresting moslems.
    Answer: Of course they are. Why else would he have been appointed.
    This is far more important an issue than the lack of responses suggests.

    Actually, Moslem is just an alternative to Muslim, not an incorrect spelling.

    To correct you both, Islam refers to the religion. Muslim is the name ascribed to an adherent of Islam just as Christian refers to one who adheres to Christianity.

    It's from arabic. Hence another alphabet. Hence writing it through sound, and not as it should be in arabic.

    Hypocrite. You don't spell every sentence in every post perfectly...And has been pointed out both versions are correct.
