cracked lip

Girl-From-MarsGirl-From-Mars Posts: 2,822 Boards Guru
in the corner of my mouth i have a really sore crack in my lip... i cant open my mouth very widely coz it hurts so eating isnt the easiest of things right now. and it looks all red and i feel self conscious about people looking at it, and i spose im not helping any matters by picking at it!

but does anyone have any ways of getting rid of them? its not a coldsore btw. i spose there's always good old vaseline...

Blisteze. It's expensive for a little tube, but it's really good & works quickly

Ah, everyone gets those dumb things. I dunno what causes them, maybe I opened my mouth too wide eating that Big Mac. But when it does happen, I use an antibacterial ointment called Polysporin. It works great cause it's got an ingredient to numb the nerves a little (for wounds), and so u can eat ketchup chips and not worry (tho i wouldnt recommend it )

Sounds like you're run down gfm. Get some vitamin C & some echinacea.
