Hi i was just wondering how many women out there suffer from PCOS? I suffer from it really badly and was diagnosed when I was 15 when I collapsed in school due to severe period pain. I'm now 20 and have been on Dianette for 5 years and have recently had it changed to mercilon as I was getting depressed.
Has anyone else experinced depression from the pill?
Has anyone found an alternative medication that works?
I know that some herbal remedies contain anti-androgens and so can help relieve symptoms.

i've been on the pill for almost a year (microgynon-30), and i wouldnt say ive become depressed because of this. i had a bad time last autumn, but it was more stress causing depression-like symptoms i think.
